As lead advisor, the BDO M&A team advised the shareholders of Robusta AG on the entire sale process to Hasena-Holding AG. This included the preparation of the sales documents, the approach of potential buyers, the support during the buyer's transaction.
The Robusta brand has been known since 1927 as a manufacturer of mattresses and slatted frames «Made in Switzerland». After the sellers had successfully managed and developed the company for over 20 years, Hasena was a strong partner for the succession.
Hasena-Holding AG, which is widely known as a bed manufacturer in Europe, will take over all shares in Robusta AG on 1 January 2024 and ensure the continued existence of the established Swiss mattress manufacturer as part of the overall strategic concept. Robusta AG continues to operate independently on the market within Hasena-Holding AG.
