The BDO M&A team acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Amstutz Produkte AG on the sale to LAEMMLE Chemicals AG. This included the preparation of the sales documents, the approach of potential buyers, the support during the buyer's due diligence, negotiations as well as the entire process management until the closing of the transaction.
Amstutz Produkte AG is a leading Swiss supplier of innovative chemical-technical cleaning agents and equipment for trade and industry. The group consists of Amstutz Produkte AG with headquarters and production facilities in Eschenbach (Luzern), as well as two sales companies in Munich (Germany) and Feldkirch (Austria). After more than 70 years of building up and successfully managing the company, the founding and owning family wanted to withdraw from the operational business of Amstutz Produkte AG and focus more on other activities.
As a long-term succession solution, the continuity and further successful development of the Amstutz Group will be secured. The new owner is the LAEMMLE Group, an independent Swiss family-owned lubricants and chemicals specialist with headquarters and its own production facilities in Madetswil (Zurich).
