Auditing annual and group financial statements

Comprehensive auditing approach

Our understanding of modern auditing services encompasses efficient, risk-oriented procedures. We place emphasis on a comprehensive auditing approach which is not limited to a numerical interpretation of annual financial statements, but also includes the company’s environment and strategy as well as core processes and selected key areas. We analyse the company’s operational activity, financial situation and internal controlling system (ICS), and identify any potential risks that could result in substantial errors in the annual accounts. Based on the results of this analysis, we establish the focal points of the auditing process and create an audit strategy and detailed audit planning. This ensures that the auditing process is conducted in an efficient, target-oriented manner. Finally, the results of the audit provide the basis for a final assessment of the annual financial statements, a discussion of the audit results with the company, as well as thorough and meaningful reporting.

Consultation and constructive criticism

No matter how reliable findings may be, they are of little value if they are not communicated in a prompt, clear and transparent manner. Ensuring that clients feel that all of their business requirements are being understood creates a foundation of trust that is an essential prerequisite of open, critical and constructive dialogue. This consultative approach allows companies to identify their optimisation potential and to implement the relevant changes promptly.
